MTG Affiliated Research

The MTG is working with York Health Economics Consortium to research the societal impact of health technologies. 

The financial impact of many health technologies is felt not just by the NHS, but by other government departments and society at large.  For example, a technology which allows patients to stay in employment will benefit the Department of Work and Pensions.   Our research will seek to identify and quantify these benefits.
